Tips:
Get an early start. This is a full day of fun. Bring a hat, sunglasses, towel, change of clothing, amphibious camera, biodegradable sun screen, snorkeling gear (rental gear available inside Celarain EcoPark) and comfortable walking shoes.

Car Rental
Cruise the island in a late model sedan (Jeep upgrade available) from Fiesta Rental Car, the most popular rental agency on the island.

Faro Celarain Eco Park
This ecological reserve is an environmentally friendly park with a variety of attractions including a working lighthouse, coastal dunes, mangroves, reef, lagoon and beautiful beach. Explore and climb the winding stairs to the top for a beautiful view of the island. The base of the lighthouse features a museum with exhibitions of the island's nautical history. The famous Mayan ruin El Caracol, suspected to be an ancient lighthouse, can also be seen at Faro Celarain Eco Park.
Punta Morena Restaurant
Located on a beautiful beach, Punta Morena Restaurant offers great views and great food such as fried fish, fresh ceviche and a host of Caribbean specialties. Hammocks and beach side service are also available to to let you enjoy the true island flavor.
San Gervasio Ruins
The most important historical Mayan site on Cozumel and the largest Maya establishment found on the island to date. San Gervasio was a sacred Maya site. It was also a strategic site for commerce and politics in the area. This historical destination was a sanctuary to Ix Chel, the goddess of fertility. It was an obligatory pilgrimage for Mayas, once during their lifetime, to visit Ix Chel.

Island Museum: Museo de la Isla
The museum offers a look into the history of Cozumel. Interesting and educational information on the island's ecosystems and reefs, the geological evolution of the island, the Mayan legacy and its history.

Main Plaza: Parque Benito Juarez
The main square was established at the turn of the 20th century and the clock tower (1925-1930) soon became the island's landmark. The town of San Miguel de Cozumel was built around the main square and has always been the traditional meeting place.
El Malecon and Flag Esplanade
Cozumel's iconic seawall (El Malecon) was built in 1935. For decades, residents and visitors alike, have enjoyed an afternoon stroll while admiring the waving flag overhead.

Home to the precious statue of St. Michael the Archangel believed to have been deposited in Cozumel in 1518. The ivory statue sits on the alter and can be visited anytime.

Diver's Monument
In 1961 Jacques Cousteau discovered the extent and beauty of the reefs of Cozumel and publicized it as one of the most beautiful scuba diving areas of the world.
